We are not just surviving but thriving! How Thrival Kits makes all the difference in supporting children’s mental health across Manitoba!
Mindfulness is allowing your focus to be in the present moment. This includes our thoughts, sensations, hearing, etc. By teaching children mindfulness skills, we can help increase their well-being and enable them to meet the stresses of the world with resilience, self-compassion, and openness.
Thrival Kits helps to promote mental health as it supports children to manage life challenges through mindfulness practices. Mindfulness breathing is one of many activities in the Thrival Kits program that has allows children to develop important mental health skills.
There are many more activities within Thrival Kits to support children and their mental health!
Forum pour les animatrices et animateurs
We want to thank our facilitators for diligently helping our children to thrive. As we are currently working to improve the Thrival Kits program, we encourage feedback and the impacts it has made in each classroom. The facilitator forum is a excellent resource for teachers to connect and to provide feedback for program development. Let’s connect; Ebenezer (eayim@cmhawpg.mb.ca) or Rahma (rshahin@cmhawpg.mb.ca).
